Kashipur: A Grand Yoga Camp Organized by KVS Premier Group

Kashipur, June 21, 2024: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a grand yoga camp was organized by KVS Premier Foundation, sponsored by Kashi Vishwanath Steels Private Limited and Dewarpan Foods Private Limited. The event was co-sponsored by the Sports Authority of India, Kashipur, Rotary Club of Kashipur, and the Women’s Patanjali Yoga Committee, Kashipur Udham Singh Nagar West. The camp took place on June 21, 2024, from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM at the Ramnagar Road Sports Stadium in Kashipur.

 

The chief guest of the program, Mr. Abhay Pratap Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Kashipur, along with the special guest Mr. Vivek Rai, Municipal Commissioner, and sponsors from the KVS Premier Foundation, including Mr. Devendra Kumar Agarwal, Mrs. Rekha Agarwal, Mr. Arpan Jindal, Mr. B.P. Goyal, and Mrs. Kamla Rikhadi, a state executive member of the Women’s Patanjali Yoga Committee, inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp.

On this occasion, the fourth edition of the yoga booklet “Yoga Dainandini,” published by the KVS Premier Group and compiled by Mrs. Kamla Rikhadi, was released by the chief guest. This booklet was distributed free of charge in memory of the revered Netaji Mrs. Vinod Devi Jindal by the KVS Premier Foundation. The booklet serves not only as a guide for yoga practitioners but also provides information on home remedies and spiritual knowledge.

 

After the yoga practice, Mr. Devendra Kumar Agarwal, Managing Director of KVS Premier Group, addressed all the practitioners present at the camp. He stated that yoga is an ancient tradition beneficial for various diseases and disorders, and it is a holistic way of life that integrates all elements of ancient knowledge to unite the body, mind, and soul through disciplined prayerful practice. One of the beauties of yoga is that it is beneficial for everyone, whether old or young, healthy or weak, and it aids in leading everyone towards progress. He mentioned that regular yoga practice has brought remarkable changes in the lifestyles of practitioners and provided relief from chronic diseases. Yoga Day is celebrated in around 172 countries worldwide, proving India’s leadership in yoga.

The camp featured musical yoga exercises and Surya Namaskar performed by school students. At the end of the program, the Women’s Patanjali Yoga Committee expressed gratitude to the sponsors, KVS Premier Foundation. A large number of yoga practitioners, including men, women, and children, attended the camp, enjoying the yoga practice and resolving to adopt yoga in their lives to stay healthy and disease-free.
